Will Davis

Illinois, State Representative (2002-)

A one-time staffer for former Cong. Jesse Jackson, Jr., Will Davis was one of The Jackson Five candidates on the South Side and South Suburbs swept into office in the early 2000's, riding Jackson's personal popularity and promises of reform in "Southland" politics. Davis won his seat in a close 2002 election against Brenda Thompson, in an open seat race created after a remap.

With a district that includes suburban Harvey, Davis is also an ally of Harvey Mayor Eric Kellogg.
